Yeongdeungpo-gu Promotes Facility Improvement Project at Bandalpark Spring Water Facility

[Suwon Ilbo=Seo Dong-young] Yeongdeungpo-gu, Suwon City (District Chief Song Young-wan) announced on the 4th that it will push forward with a facility improvement project at the Bandalpark spring water facility in Yeongdeung-dong.

The Bandalpark spring water facility has caused inconvenience to residents due to aging drinking water facilities, ground cracks caused by nearby tree roots, and blocked drainage systems.

Accordingly, the district will conduct the facility improvement project for approximately one month starting from the 4th as part of a residential request project being pursued as a resident tax increase rebate initiative this year.

Through floor construction and drainage system maintenance at the spring water facility, the district plans to improve the facilities and ensure water quality stability by removing the existing drinking water station and installing a new drinking water facility without a water tank.

A district official stated, "We will continue to make efforts in facility and water quality management to prevent inconvenience for residents using the spring water facility," and urged, "Since the spring water facility is a shared facility used by many citizens, we ask that users refrain from behaviors that may cause discomfort to other users."
