[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Paldal-gu in Suwon is implementing the 'Namsu Hanok Village District Cadastral Re-Survey Project' targeting 553 plots (89,160 ㎡) including Lot 4, Namsu-dong from last month through December 2021.

The cadastral re-survey project is a national policy initiative to convert paper cadastre records produced in the 1910s and managed for approximately 100 years into digital cadastre by 2030.

The district has established an implementation plan for the cadastral re-survey project including current conditions of the business area, project costs, and detailed promotion schedules, and announced them through the district website and bulletin boards. Landowners and stakeholders can submit opinions through the end of this month via the Comprehensive Civil Affairs Division of Paldal-gu Office (031-228-7261).

A residents' briefing session will be held on the 26th at 7 p.m. in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the district office for landowners and stakeholders within the cadastral re-survey district to explain the cadastral re-survey project and receive consent forms. For owners unable to attend the briefing session, explanations and consent form collection will be conducted through home visits.

A district official said, "Residents are asked to refer to the public notice for the implementation plan of the Namsu Hanok Village District Cadastral Re-Survey Project, attend the residents' briefing session, and listen to explanations about the project," and added, "The project district designation can only be applied for once more than two-thirds of all landowners submit consent forms. Upon completion, the project is expected to contribute to resolving land boundary disputes and protecting the property rights of residents."
