Osan City Holds Second Half Tap Water Evaluation Committee Meeting

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] On the 20th, Osan City held the "2019 Second Half Tap Water Evaluation Committee" meeting in the conference room of the Environmental Services Center.

During the meeting, following a report on 2019 business achievements, water quality test results, and major business plans for 2020, there was a question-and-answer session regarding tap water management.

The committee members requested that water quality test results be actively promoted to citizens to dispel distrust about tap water and to further strengthen management of the tap water supply process.

Meanwhile, the Tap Water Evaluation Committee is currently performing roles including evaluation and announcement of tap water quality test results and providing consultation on water quality improvement.

Kim Jang-hwan, chairman of the Tap Water Evaluation Committee, stated, "We will actively reflect the various opinions proposed in the meeting regarding facility improvements and water quality management to ensure the supply of clean and safe tap water that citizens can drink with confidence."
