Suwon Public-Type Childcare Centers Donate Bazaar Proceeds to Paldal-gu
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Thirty-nine public-type childcare centers in Suwon donated 1.3 million won in proceeds from the "3rd Bazaar to Help Unmarried Mothers and Their Children" to Paldal-gu on the 25th.
The public-type childcare centers in Suwon held the "3rd Bazaar to Help Unmarried Mothers and Their Children" for two weeks from May 27 to June 7. The proceeds will be transferred to facilities for unmarried mothers and their children.
"Public-type childcare centers" have been designated as excellent childcare facilities by the Ministry of Health and Welfare since July 2011. They receive partial support from the state for operational and personnel expenses, ensuring stable operation and management at the level of national and public childcare centers.
Kim Shin-ja, president of the Suwon Public-Type Childcare Centers Association, said, "Children learned concepts about economics through the bazaar. We are also pleased that it helped those in need in our community."
Lee Hun-seong, head of Paldal-gu Office, said, "I appreciate the directors for providing various childcare activities that allow children to experience sharing and consideration."
