Gwonseon-gu Pursues Drone Cooperation with China's DJI

[Suwon Ilbo=Seo Dong-young Reporter] Gwonseon-gu in Suwon held a workshop for "establishing a drone industry cooperation network" with the headquarters of DJI, the world's leading drone company based in China, and local drone enterprises, it announced on the 11th.

At the workshop, the district introduced its drone utilization administrative projects and support activities using drones since 2017.

Jang Gyeong-suk, head of the Comprehensive Civil Services Division, said, "We plan to utilize drones in various administrative tasks through business consultations with DJI, a leading company in the drone field."

A official from the district's Comprehensive Civil Services Division said, "We will make active efforts to seek ways to expand drone utilization across land surveying and overall administrative operations in cooperation with DJI and drone-related companies within the district."
