Suwon's Gwonseon-gu Launches Mobile Resident ID Card Issuance Service at High Schools on 16th and 18th
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Suwon's Gwonseon-gu announced on the 13th that it is implementing a "mobile resident ID card issuance service" in which resident registration officials visit high schools directly to issue resident ID cards.
The district has been continuously promoting the project since 2012 for the convenience of students who find it difficult to spare time due to their studies. As of the third quarter this year, 91 students have received resident ID cards. This time, 63 students from Gosaek, Hanbeom, and Chilbo high schools applied.
On the 11th, officials from Wonju City's Musil-dong visited Gwonseon-gu for benchmarking and toured Hanbeom High School. The district plans to visit Chilbo High School on the 16th and 18th.
A official from the Comprehensive Civil Affairs Division said, "The service is planned to continue next year as well. We hope for participation from many schools."
