Yeongdong-gu Ranks First in Suwon Resident Autonomous Center Evaluation for Second Consecutive Year
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Suh Dong-young] Yeongdong-gu in Suwon City (District Chief Song Young-wan) has ranked first in the Suwon Resident Autonomous Center evaluation for the second consecutive year.
On the 13th, at the '2019 Suwon Resident Autonomous Center Operation Evaluation - Excellent Cases Presentation and Final Evaluation' held at Suwon City Hall, Gwanggyo 1-dong received the Grand Prize.
This year, the district's Gwanggyo 1-dong and Maetan 4-dong, which won first place (excellence award) last year, competed in the final competition against the remaining 3 districts' 6 neighborhoods.
Gwanggyo 1-dong, which received the Grand Prize, was recognized for its Smile Project and resident general assembly. Gwanggyo 1-dong received an 'Excellence Award' in the regional activation category at this year's 18th National Resident Autonomous Expo.
With Gwanggyo 1-dong's Grand Prize, Yeongdong-gu has achieved first place in the Resident Autonomous Center evaluation for the second consecutive year following Maetan 4-dong last year. Maetan 4-dong received an Encouragement Award.
