Paldal-gu Imposes 680 Million Won in Regular License Tax
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Paldal-gu in Suwon City imposed 680 million won in regular license tax on 16,944 cases on the 7th.
This year's regular license tax assessment increased by 389 cases and 31.41 million won compared to the previous year.
The district announced it will do its best in promoting the tax so that residents can pay the license tax conveniently by the payment deadline.
License tax is a local tax imposed on individuals or corporations that have received the establishment of rights, lifting of prohibitions, or acceptance of reports for specific business facilities or activities such as licenses, permits, approvals, registrations, designations, inspections, examinations, and reviews as prescribed by law from various administrative agencies.
Based on January 1st of each year, the tax is assessed on individuals or corporations that hold licenses with no specified validity period or a validity period exceeding one year.
The payment period is from the 16th to the 31st of this month. Payment is available through various methods including all financial institutions, Wetax (www.wetax.go.kr), Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute (www.giro.or.kr), internet, virtual accounts, ARS credit card (1899-7500), and CD/ATM machines.
