Pyeongtaek City Announces Call for Multi-Household Community Activation Support Projects
[Suwon Ilbo=Correspondent Suh Dong-young] Pyeongtaek City is proceeding with a call for proposals for the 'Multi-household Community Activation Support Project.'
The target recipients are 220 mandatory management multi-household complexes with management organizations within the city. The city is recruiting in two fields: community activation projects and community space creation projects.
Community activation projects aim to promote resident harmony and communication within complexes. Eligible projects include ▲eco-friendly and practical experience activities ▲communication and resident harmony ▲hobby and startup initiatives ▲education and childcare ▲health and fitness ▲mutual aid and community service, and other community activation projects for resident harmony.
The support budget is up to 10 million won per complex, with the selection committee making final adjustments to the support amount based on project content.
The space creation project is carried out to support the establishment of community activation spaces through repairs and changes in use of common facilities within multi-household complexes. Applications are eligible from complexes that have been completed for more than five years.
Support is provided up to 20 million won per complex. Complexes applying concurrently with community activation projects receive priority consideration, and aging multi-household complexes lacking community space receive additional points at the time of application.
Applications must be submitted in person to the City's Housing Division and Housing Management Team from the 10th to the 21st of this month. Evaluation criteria include project purpose alignment, appropriateness, and ripple effects, with final selections made through committee review. For more details, check the city website's notices and announcements or contact the Housing Management Team.
Meanwhile, the city conducted pilot projects in three complexes last year to prepare for the community activation project. Beginning this year, the city plans to make focused efforts to strengthen resident capabilities through operating community activation academies, conducting on-site resident education programs by complex, and providing training for resident representative committees and block representatives.
Additionally, the city has secured 3.8 billion won in project funds to support aging multi-household complexes and will implement support projects for approximately 70 multi-household complexes.
