Youngdeungpo District to Maintain Road Facilities from March

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Youngdeungpo District will maintain road facilities from March to prevent traffic accidents and other safety incidents while creating a pleasant road environment.

The maintenance project targets 77 road facilities including 18 underground passages and roadways as well as 12 overpasses. The district will clean road facilities contaminated by residual calcium chloride from winter snow removal operations, fine dust, and yellow dust. Additionally, minor damage to facilities such as overpasses and underground passages will be repaired and restored.

To minimize inconvenience to residents, maintenance work will be avoided during commute hours, with concentrated operations conducted during off-peak traffic times.

Park Young-wan, District Chief of Youngdeungpo District, stated, "The road facility maintenance project aims to provide residents with a pleasant road environment. We appreciate your understanding regarding any inconveniences to vehicles and pedestrian traffic during the maintenance work."
