Jangan-gu Disinfects Public Water Fountains to Prevent COVID-19 Spread

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Jangan-gu announced on the 2nd that it has disinfected "public water drinking facilities (spring water fountains)" and installed hand sanitizers to prevent community spread of COVID-19.

The district plans to conduct disinfection and environmental cleanup around water fountains and sanitize water taps at least once a week until the situation is resolved. In addition, it plans to continuously carry out inspections of drinking water facilities and periodic water quality tests.

An official from the district urged, "Until the COVID-19 situation is brought under control, citizens should refrain from using water fountains as much as possible to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and if they do use them, please maintain strict personal hygiene."

Meanwhile, there are currently 17 public water fountains in the district, including Baeknyeon Water Fountain and Jeolter Water Fountain.
