The confirmed patient is a woman in her 40s with U.S. nationality who had travel history to the United States.

She was tested on March 31st and confirmed positive on April 1st, then transferred to Anseong Medical Center.

The city announced that it will disclose the patient's detailed movement route on the Pyeongtaek City website and SNS.

A city official said, "According to epidemiological investigation results, there are currently nine contacts in total, with eight undergoing or scheduled for testing," adding "one taxi driver will be tested as soon as his identity is confirmed." Furthermore, "all movement routes have been disinfected, so there is no problem for citizens to use them," the official added.
