Gwonseon-gu Completes Slope Maintenance Project at Dumul-Majit Park

[Suwon Ilbo=Correspondent Seo Dong-young] Gwonseon-gu announced on the 11th that it has completed the slope maintenance project at Dumul-Majit Park in Homaesil-dong, which has been ongoing since 2019.

The slopes of Dumul-Majit Park are a section that has been under special management by the district due to concerns about soil erosion during heavy rainfall.

From March of last year through May of this year, the district completed stone-laying and shrub-planting work across the total affected section (414m) to prevent disasters caused by soil erosion.

Gwonseon-gu Office Chief Gil Young-bae said, "This project is expected to minimize damage from soil erosion during heavy rain," and added, "We will make every effort to enable citizens to use a safer park."
