[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Pyeongtaek City announced on the 18th that it is recruiting young trainees (1st batch) to participate in the 'Drone Specialist Training Program'.

Following last year, this year's drone education will recruit a total of 53 young people across three sessions. The 1st batch of 20 trainees will be recruited by the 23rd of this month, the 2nd batch of 20 trainees in July, and the 3rd batch of 13 trainees in September.

Young people participating in the education will receive customized training through pesticide application and photography training, which enables immediate practical work in the field, as well as certificate acquisition. After completing the training, they will also receive support for employment and startup ventures.

All education fees are free. The courses will run from next month 1st for a two-month duration for each session.

Unemployed youth aged 18 to 34 with registered residence in Pyeongtaek who have intentions to find employment or start a business in drone-related fields are eligible to apply.

The city will select final trainees through a 1st document screening and 2nd interview screening.

Young people wishing to participate can download the application form from the city website—Notice Board—Pyeongtaek News and apply via email (mulpas0508@naver.com) or fax (031-616-3099).

Meanwhile, last year all 53 training participants completed the program, and 48 young people obtained drone certificates.
