Yeongdeungpo-gu Disinfects Areas Around 61 Schools and Commute Routes

[Suwon Ilbo=Seo Dong-young Reporter] Yeongdeungpo-gu, Suwon disinfected areas surrounding 61 elementary, middle, and high schools within its jurisdiction and commute routes on the 26th, a day before the staggered school reopening.

The district has designated every Wednesday as "Intensive Disinfection Day" since March and has been conducting COVID-19 disinfection at multi-use facilities and parks.

Song Young-wan, head of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, said, "COVID-19 infections must not occur in schools and classrooms. We will continue to conduct disinfection activities on vulnerable facilities including school facilities and surrounding areas to ensure student safety as our top priority."
