Ansan's 'Comfortable Mind Taxi Project' and Seongnam's 'Drone-based Heat Map Construction Project for Rational Response to Heat Waves' were selected as the top excellence award and excellence award, respectively.

The province announced on the 19th that it held the final review on the 14th through video conference between the province and municipalities, selecting the final award-winning projects. Previously, the province selected 5 projects to advance to the final round through preliminary review on the 28th of last month, and conducted online voting by residents from July 31 to August 9, combining the results with the final review results to select the ultimate award-winning projects.

Ansan's 'Comfortable Mind Taxi Project' complements vehicle support primarily for people with mobility disabilities, supporting vehicles that can be prioritized by people with developmental, hearing, and language disabilities.

Seongnam's 'Drone-based Heat Map Construction Project for Rational Response to Heat Waves' allows drones equipped with thermal sensors to measure ground surface temperature, and the collected data can be utilized in establishing heat wave policies by linking with geographic information systems.

The final review also included presentations on Gyeonggi Province's sales projects such as ▲revitalization of tourism in restored clean valley areas ▲operation of labor safety watchers ▲support for fostering social cooperative kindergartens and childcare centers.

The province plans to ensure that the excellent policies of municipalities and the province's priority policies selected on this day can be disseminated to municipalities in need through follow-up procedures such as demand surveys and budget allocation.

The 'Gyeonggi Province-type Policy Market' is one of Governor Lee Jae-myung's priority initiatives, through which Gyeonggi Province purchases excellent municipal policies and sells provincial priority projects to municipalities, promoting 'dissemination of excellent policies' for residents through 'mutual policy exchange.'

Municipalities participating in projects selected as excellent municipal policies can receive provincial subsidies of 50% for the grand prize, 40% for top excellence, and 30% for excellence, while the proposing municipality can receive an additional 10% in provincial subsidies.
