[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Osan City announced on the 19th that the Gyeonggi Province public bus G6010, which connects Osan Station and Sangal Station, has been operating via Cityzae Apartment in Busan-dong.
The G6010 bus route connects from Osan Station Transfer Center as the starting point, passing through Dongtan Lake Park and Dongtan Station, to Exit 2 of Sangal Station.
Originally, the route was planned to pass through Osan City without stopping. However, to resolve transportation inconvenience in areas underserved by public transit, Osan City consulted with Hwaseong City and added Cityzae Apartment in Busan-dong as a transit point.
The G6010 bus operates from 5 a.m. at its starting point, Osan Station Transfer Center, and the last departure from its terminal, Sangal Station, is at 11:45 p.m. The interval between buses is 20-30 minutes on weekdays and weekends, and the fare is the same as Gyeonggi express seat buses.
The city expects that the expansion of the G6010 bus route will significantly improve transportation convenience for residents commuting to and from Dongtan and Yongin from large apartment complexes in Busan-dong.
An official from Osan City stated, "As a result of close consultation between nearby local governments under our jurisdiction and the active efforts of the transportation company, we were able to expand the operating route and operate the bus."
