Paldal-gu, Suwon Operates Untact Pet Culture Classes Until the 31st

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Paldal-gu, Suwon operates the '2020 Paldal-gu Untact Pet Culture Class' through the 31st of this month to foster a mature pet ownership culture.

Dr. Lee Chung-joo, director of Hansung Animal Hospital, and Yom Su-jin, representative of the animal protection organization 'New Life for Abandoned Dogs,' will give lectures on pet etiquette to observe when going out with pets and abandoned animals.

During the education period, visitors can access the city's official YouTube channel or the Paldal-gu website to watch three pet culture class videos: ▲Episode 1 Living with Pets ▲Episode 2 Let's Walk Together (Walking Tips and Pet Etiquette) ▲Episode 3 A World Without Abandoned Animals.

A district official said, "As collective education became difficult due to the spread of COVID-19, we decided to implement non-face-to-face education. We hope that proper pet culture becomes established and awareness of the value of life toward animals increases."
