Paldal-gu District in Suwon Expands Sharing Culture with Mobile Donation Kiosk

On the 21st, Paldal-gu District, Suwon City (District Chief Hwang Gyu-don) held a mobile donation kiosk donation event in the 1st floor lobby of the Paldal-gu District Office, marking the start of a donation relay with citizens to promote a culture of sharing in everyday life.

The mobile donation kiosk is a non-face-to-face donation method using credit cards. Users can easily make donations by selecting the desired donation amount on the kiosk screen and tagging their card. Small donations are available starting from 1,000 won and upward, and after donating, citizens can request a donation receipt through a mobile donation certificate sent via text message.

Beginning with this event, the mobile donation kiosk will operate in the 1st floor lobby of the Paldal-gu District Office until September 30th. From October 1st to 11th, it will be relocated to the 1st floor lobby of the Suwon Hwaseong Museum. By placing the kiosk in these accessible locations, the district has enhanced accessibility so citizens can naturally participate in donations during their daily visits to the district office and museum.

Gwon Nam-ho, private committee chair of the Paldal-gu District Community Welfare Council, said, "Small donations that anyone can participate in without burden can create warm changes in our local community," and expressed hope that "this mobile donation kiosk will serve as an opportunity for residents to actively participate in voluntary sharing."

District Chief Hwang Gyu-don stated, "Donation is more important for the heart behind it than the amount," and added, "I hope this mobile donation kiosk becomes an opportunity for citizens to practice sharing without burden in their daily lives, and that small acts of sharing will spread throughout the community."
