Jangan-gu Inspects 178 Karaoke Establishments for Quarantine Guidelines Compliance

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Jangan-gu in Suwon is conducting intensive inspections of 178 karaoke establishments through the 31st to verify compliance with quarantine guidelines.

The inspection team informs business owners of updated quarantine guidelines, reviews their implementation status, and provides notices regarding occupancy limits based on facility size to be posted at entrances and notices restricting entry for symptomatic individuals.

According to the guidelines, the number of users is restricted to one person per 8 square meters of facility space. Regardless of room size, a maximum of 4 people are allowed per room. After use, rooms must be immediately disinfected, and new customers can only be admitted 30 minutes later. Operating hours are allowed until 9 p.m.

A Jangan-gu official stated, "This is an unavoidable measure for the protection of citizens' lives and safety. We hope everyone will participate together in preventing the spread of COVID-19," emphasizing the importance of compliance.
