Mayor Kim Sang-don of Uiwang City Holds 31st Field Administration Day

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Mayor Kim Sang-don of Uiwang City visited the Uiwang Recycling Center, the Baekun Mountain Nuri Path construction site, and Uiwang Jeongeum School on the 17th for the ‘31st Field Administration Day.’

Mayor Kim first visited the recycling center, where he received a report on response plans for the increase in waste processing volume and encouraged the efforts of recycling businesses and related public officials.

He then visited the Baekun Mountain Nuri Path construction site, which is being promoted with completion targeted for this year, and inspected the convenience facilities in the project section that connects the existing Wanggok Stream walking path and mountain trails (bike path) with the Baekun Mountain hiking trail.

Finally, he visited Uiwang Jeongeum School in Poil-dong, which is set to open in March, and checked the opening preparation status. Mayor Kim stated, “The school access road construction project promoted by the city was completed ahead of schedule, making it convenient for both students and parents to use the school,” and added, “Going forward, Uiwang City and the Provincial Office of Education will continue to make greater efforts to lead education and city administration for citizens through cooperation.”
