[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] On the 22nd, Osan City signed a memorandum of understanding with the resident representatives of The Sharp Osan Central and Osan City Zai Phase 2 apartments to establish 'Together Growth Centers'.
Through this agreement, the city will additionally install two Together Growth Centers at △The Sharp Osan Central (65 Naessammiro) and △Osan City Zai Phase 2 (42 Busanjungang-ro) apartments.
The 'Together Growth Center' is a facility designed to provide after-school childcare services to address gaps in elementary student care, and is being established by utilizing community facilities within residential complexes.
Currently, the city has 12 Together Growth Centers in operation, and plans to continue expanding them through next year so that children can safely receive childcare services within their living area.
Kwak Sang-wook, Mayor of Osan, said, "Thanks to the community's interest, an environment is being created where our children can grow up healthier and safer," and added, "We will make greater efforts to establish a tight-knit childcare safety net throughout the region."
