Uiwang City Launches Convenient Mobile Service for Large Waste Disposal

Until now, residents could only purchase disposal stickers (proof of payment) at designated sales outlets or apply through the city's website via a personal computer, which caused some inconvenience for citizens.

With the implementation of the mobile disposal convenience service, residents will be able to submit disposal requests through smartphones, allowing anyone to use the service easily without being restricted by time or location.

To report, users can access the service directly by searching "Uiwang City Large Waste" in portal site search bars without needing to install a separate app. After submitting the report and making payment, users mark the notification certificate number on the waste and dispose of it.

Uiwang City Mayor Kim Sang-don said, "The addition of mobile service to the existing disposal system is expected to significantly enhance citizens' convenience in waste disposal in this non-face-to-face era," and added, "We will continue to make greater efforts to improve public services that citizens can directly experience."
