The agreement ceremony was designed to enhance quarantine preparedness through organic cooperation between the 1472 Care Team, which handles grievances concerning the living inconveniences of low-income vulnerable populations, and the Osan City Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Group, which responds swiftly to quarantine and disaster situations in the city, thereby eliminating blind spots in quarantine services for vulnerable populations and improving prevention effectiveness.
According to the agreement, the 1472 Care Team will actively identify quarantine blind spots and connect eligible individuals, while the Osan City Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Group will support quarantine activities.
Mayor Kwak Sang-wook, who attended the agreement ceremony, stated, “Through this agreement, we will respond more effectively to vulnerable populations exposed to quarantine blind spots due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and endeavor to create a safer Osan environment.”
