Hwaseong City Supports Mini Solar Installation in Multi-Unit Housing Security Office
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Hwaseong City announced on the 18th that it is recruiting 24 multi-unit housing security offices to participate in a project supporting the installation of mini solar systems rated at 700W or below in security offices within the city.
The mini solar installation support project for security offices is a program that supports the installation costs of mini solar systems capable of generating electricity in multi-unit housing security offices, covering 90% of the total installation costs.
The installation cost for mini solar systems is 1,407,000 won based on 700W capacity, and participating multi-unit housing will receive support of 1,266,300 won.
When a 650W mini solar system (325W, 2 units) is installed in a security office of a multi-unit housing complex, it can operate a wall-mounted air conditioner (6 pyeong) for 3.5 hours per day.
Multi-unit housing complexes wishing to participate should complete the resident opinion collection process, including resolution by the residents' representative council, from the 1st to August 31st of next month, and then submit application documents through participating companies under the name of the residents' representative.
There are a total of 6 participating companies for mini solar installation in multi-unit housing security offices: Gyeongdong Solar Energy Co., Ltd., Sungsin E&C Co., Ltd., Ansan Citizens Solar Power Generation Cooperative, Taehyun D&NS Co., Ltd., Solar Terrace Co., Ltd., and Duri Gyejeol Co., Ltd.
The city expects this project to play a significant role not only in realizing energy welfare by improving the poor working conditions of security guards, but also in reducing public electricity bills and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the expansion of distributed power generation.
