[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Resolve Park, which has become a popular tourist attraction in Uiwang City, has renovated its space for children.
Uiwang City announced on the 2nd that it has newly installed a deck road, slope climbing wall, Indian house, log crossing, acacia play house, cylindrical log passage, and duk slide at part of Resolve Park, expanding the space for children to experience and enjoy.
Resolve Park is a representative leisure town in Uiwang City that welcomes over one million visitors annually, adjacent to nearby Suwon and Gunpo cities.
The project, carried out as part of the 'Gyeonggi Ainuri Playground Development Project,' invested a total of 200 million won, with 100 million won each from the provincial and city budgets. From the outset, the space was designed based on consultation with advisors from the Gyeonggi Ainuri Playground to allow children to play freely.
In particular, outdoor tables were installed under the shade of hackberry trees, enabling parents to comfortably watch their children play, while efforts were made to create a space where parents and children can spend time together.
Also noteworthy is the significant improvement in user convenience through the installation of palm mats on existing forest play equipment, deck roads, and walking paths.
Meanwhile, the city plans to further remodel the Resolve Park management office into a cultural center and small library to provide leisure space for citizens, with plans to begin construction by the end of this year and complete the project by early next year.
