Giheung-gu, Yongin City to Hold Briefing Session on March 31 for Landowners in Mabuk 1·2 Districts Land Cadastral Resurvey Project
[Suwon Ilbo=Park No-hun] Giheung-gu, Yongin Special City will hold a public briefing session on March 31 for landowners and stakeholders in the Mabuk 1·2 districts, which are target areas for this year's land cadastral resurvey project.
The target areas comprise 55 parcels (20,745㎡) in Mabuk 1 District, including lot 150-2 of Mabuk-dong, and 290 parcels (128,468㎡) in Mabuk 2 District, including lot 11 of Mabuk-dong.
The public briefing session will be held in the conference room on the first floor of the Mabuk-dong Administrative Welfare Center, where plans for the land cadastral resurvey project—which corrects irregular land boundaries—will be explained to landowners in the area, and residents' opinions will be gathered.
Following the briefing, the district will receive consent from two-thirds or more of the landowners, publicly announce an application for project area designation, and proceed with boundary adjustments through cadastral resurvey measurements in cooperation with the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX).
A district official stated, "We hope that many residents will participate in the briefing session and present diverse opinions for the smooth progress of the land cadastral resurvey project aimed at enhancing land utility."
The land cadastral resurvey project is a national project that corrects discrepancies between cadastral map boundaries and actual land boundaries, and converts paper-based cadastral records into digital format.
