Large Christmas Tree (2024 Year-End and New Year Tower) Erected at Jangan-gu Office Intersection in Suwon

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] A beautifully illuminated '2024 Year-End and New Year Tower' has been erected at the Jangan-gu Office intersection in Suwon City. The Christmas tree will operate until January 15 next year.

The Christmas tree, operated by the Suwon Special Metropolitan City Christian Federation (Representative Chairman Pastor Kim Hwan-geun), has been installed on the traffic island in front of Suwon KT Wiz Park.

The '2023 Year-End and New Year Tower Lighting Ceremony' held on the evening of the 3rd was attended by Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-joon, Suwon City Council Speaker Kim Ki-jung, and executives of the Suwon Special Metropolitan City Christian Federation.

Mayor Lee Jae-joon said in his congratulatory remarks, "I hope the bright lights of the Christmas tree become a beacon of hope that makes the world bright and warm," and added, "Suwon City will also contribute its efforts to make the world warm for everyone."
