Kim In-bae, Jangan-gu District Chief of Suwon, Discusses Direction of Cultural Arts Development with Female Choir Members

On the 22nd, Kim In-bae, Jangan-gu District Chief of Suwon, met with members of the Jangan-gu Women's Choir at the Jangan-gu Office conference room, taking time to encourage and communicate with them.

The meeting was attended by about 30 choir members including Choir Director Yeom Myeong-hee and Conductor Park Jong-bok. District Chief Kim In-bae encouraged the choir members who are actively working to advance local cultural arts and listened to various opinions, including issues and difficulties on the ground.

District Chief Kim In-bae said, "I thank the choir members for their efforts in fulfilling residents' cultural desires and revitalizing local cultural arts," and added, "I hope you will continue to present beautiful harmonies to our residents through various performance activities."

The Jangan-gu Women's Choir is an amateur arts organization composed of female residents of Jangan-gu. Since its establishment in March 2009, it has contributed to the revitalization of local cultural arts by participating in various cultural events and talent donation performances. A lunch concert for residents and public officials is scheduled to be held in the Jangan-gu Office lobby in November.
