[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Kim Chung-young] Uiwang City held the ‘Second Term Innovation Junior Board Launch Ceremony’ on the 26th in the City Hall conference room.
Following the first term last year, the second term Innovation Junior Board being promoted this year consists of 30 MZ-generation public officials (aged 20s-30s, grade 7 or below, with less than 7 years of service) organized into 8 teams, aimed at fostering a horizontal organizational culture and discovering innovative ideas. Starting with today's launch ceremony, activities are scheduled to continue for approximately six months.
At the launch ceremony, a time was set aside to introduce the junior board teams and present appointment certificates to team leaders, while participants discussed the direction of future activities and reaffirmed their commitment to discovering fresh ideas.
Through October, the teams plan to discover and realize innovative ideas through various activities including regular and voluntary team meetings, training to enhance innovation capacity, and benchmarking of excellent institutions.
Mayor Kim Sung-je of Uiwang City said, “From the proactive and energetic efforts of young employees who will lead Uiwang City's development, I anticipate a bright future for our city,” and added, “We will spare no support to ensure that fresh and challenging innovative ideas can be applied to city administration.”
