Suwon Urban Development Corporation Selects 5 Outstanding Works for 3rd Suwon Equal Family Video Contest
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon Urban Development Corporation (CEO Heo Jung-moon) announced on the 22nd that the work 'And Now I'm in the Kitchen (Kim Sang-hyuk)' was selected as the top-prize work in the 3rd Suwon Equal Family Video Contest hosted by the Suwon City Family and Women's Center.
The excellence awards went to two works: 'Masculine, Feminine—Where Are These Modifiers Used? (Koh Hyun-hye)' and 'Gender Equality Begins with Challenge (Kang Won-ho)'.
Three works received encouragement awards: 'A Life Shared, A Meaningful Life (Oh Da-bin)', 'Equal Family, Starting with How We Address Each Other (Shin Ju-hyun)', and 'Double the Fun When We Do It Together (Hwang Eun-kyung)'.
The center holds a video contest annually to share everyday experiences of gender equality and promote such culture.
The 3rd contest, themed 'Speaking Gender Equality in 60 Seconds: A New Perspective, Shining Equality,' received a total of 32 submissions.
The judging was conducted by external panelists who evaluated gender sensitivity, video production and technical skills, and women and family policies.
The awards ceremony was held that afternoon at the Suwon Media Center.
CEO Heo Jung-moon said, "We will do our best to implement various policies to improve awareness of gender equality."
