[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon Urban Corporation (President Heo Jung-moon) announced on the 10th that it has prepared comprehensive measures to provide safe and comfortable public services during the Chuseok holiday period and will activate emergency operation mode starting from the 14th.

The Yeonhwajang Business Division will implement a pre-reservation system for indoor memorial facilities from the 14th to the 18th. Ritual spaces will be temporarily closed (13th-18th), and the cremation facility (hwanghwawon) will operate in shortened hours with only two sessions on Chuseok day itself.

The Resource Recycling Center will collect household waste such as plastics only on the 14th and 16th.

Han-areum call taxi service for transportation-disadvantaged groups and towing and illegal parking crackdowns for residents will operate normally.

Most public parking lots will be opened free of charge, but building-type and cargo parking lots will be free only on Chuseok day. Agricultural and aquatic products and Ilwol Arboretum public parking lots will operate normally (paid), while the City Hall Annex and Gwanggyo Hongjae Library will be closed.

Cultural and sports facilities including the National Sports Center, Chilbo Sports Center, Gwanggyo Sports Center, and Jangan-gu Citizens Hall within the General Sports Complex will operate only until the 15th.

Hwasan Sports Park will close for two days from the 16th to 17th, and the Family Women's Center will be closed all day.

Detailed information by business site can be found on the website.

President Heo Jung-moon stated, "We will do our best to ensure citizens can use the facilities with peace of mind during the Chuseok holiday period."
