Gyeonggi Province Appoints Lee Pil-su as Provincial Hospital Director and Kim Min-chul as Downtown Revitalization Foundation Director

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Kim Gap-dong] Gyeonggi Province appointed Lee Pil-su, former president of the Korean Medical Association, as the new Gyeonggi Province Hospital director, and Kim Min-chul, former member of the National Assembly, as the new Gyeonggi Province Downtown Revitalization Foundation director on the 8th.

Governor Kim Dong-yeon of Gyeonggi Province presented the appointment certificates and urged the new hospital director: "Provincial residents are highly anxious due to the medical crisis. Please ensure that Gyeonggi Province Hospital can properly fulfill its role in public healthcare."

To the new foundation director, the governor said: "I am reassured that you have taken on this important responsibility during such difficult times for small business owners affected by economic downturn. I ask that you give careful attention to the needs of small business owners."

Lee Pil-su, the newly appointed Gyeonggi Province Hospital director, has served as administrative director of Baek Rehabilitation and Convalescent Hospital, president of the Jeollanam-do Medical Association, and president of the Korean Medical Association, and is currently serving as an advisor committee member of the Korean Red Cross.

Kim Min-chul, the newly appointed Gyeonggi Province Downtown Revitalization Foundation director, previously served as an administrative official at the President's Secretariat and as a National Assembly member's aide, and was active in the 21st National Assembly's Special Budget and Accounts Committee and the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee.
