Suwon Urban Development Corporation Obtains 'Highest Excellence' Safe Driving Certification from Korea Road Traffic Authority

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] The transportation vulnerable mobility support project operated by Suwon Urban Development Corporation (President Huh Jung-moon, hereinafter "the Corporation") has obtained 'Highest Excellence' safe driving certification from the Korea Road Traffic Authority.

According to the Corporation on the 18th, the Transportation Vulnerable Support Division promoted the Authority's safe driving certification starting in March to prevent safety accidents of transportation vulnerable mobility support vehicles.

The certification is a system that improves the traffic safety management system through the Authority's certification program, then reviews and certifies its outcomes for objective traffic safety.

The Corporation implemented safety education (4 sessions) for all drivers at Hanarum Call Center, psychological counseling, and special education for drivers with frequent accidents.

As a result, compared to before certification was introduced, the accident rate decreased by 35.5%, and negligence (50% or more) also decreased by 60%.

Based on the Corporation's achievements, the Authority conducted a review by experts and evaluated it as 'Highest Excellence.'

The Corporation plans to implement regular driver education, analyze safety accidents and establish improvement measures to enhance the quality of transportation vulnerable mobility support services.

President Huh Jung-moon said, "We will do our best to establish a safe traffic culture and improve services."
