Osan City Announces 2025 Apartment Complex Subsidy Support Project
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Park Chan-hyuk] Osan City announced on the 22nd that it will actively pursue the '2025 Apartment Complex Subsidy Support Project' to strengthen management and safety of apartment complexes.
The project will be carried out across five fields, ranging from maintenance of aging facilities to improvements of rest facilities for security and cleaning workers.
The support areas include: △subsidies for aging apartment complexes △installation of night landscape lighting △installation of Sprout Stations △community activation programs △improvements to rest facilities for security and cleaning workers.
The 'Aging Apartment Complex Subsidy Support Project' is for maintenance of common facilities such as children's playgrounds, rooftops, and exterior walls, targeting apartment complexes that have been in operation for 12 years or more. Each complex will receive up to 50 million won, with no more than 1 million won per household.
The 'Night Landscape Lighting Installation Subsidy Support Project' aims to improve urban landscape. Each complex will receive up to 66.5 million won. The city plans to prioritize apartment complexes located at major landscape landmarks within the city.
The 'Sprout Station Installation Subsidy Support Project' supports the installation of shelters to create a safe environment for young children's commute to and from childcare facilities. Each complex can receive up to 18 million won for one installation.
The 'Community Activation Subsidy Support Project,' which provides funding for community program operations, will offer up to 3 million won per complex, and the 'Security and Cleaning Worker Rest Facility Improvement Subsidy Support Project' plans to provide up to 2.5 million won per complex.
Applications are accepted until March 7 through the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaeme). Those with limited IT access can apply in person at the Housing Division of Osan City Hall. Information on application procedures and required documents will be provided at a site briefing session to be held at 6:30 p.m. on February 3 at the Osan City Hall Grand Conference Room.
Subsidy screening will be finalized through the 'Osan City Apartment Complex Subsidy Review Committee' to be held in April, and results will be announced through individual notification or posted on the Osan City Hall website.
Osan City Mayor Lee Gwon-jae stated, "We will actively promote the apartment complex subsidy project this year to create pleasant residential environments and improve residents' housing satisfaction," and asked for "the keen interest and participation of all citizens."
