Suwon City and Suwon Urban Development Corporation Establish Collaboration Framework for Success of Topdong Innovation Valley Project

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon Special City and Suwon Urban Development Corporation held a 'Collaboration Agency Roundtable for Successful Corporate Attraction to Topdong Innovation Valley' at the Suwon Urban Development Corporation conference room on the 1st and discussed cooperation plans.

The Topdong Innovation Valley development project involves creating a complex office complex centered on R&D (research and development) and advanced enterprises on a 270,000㎡ site in the Topdong area. Following approval of the implementation plan in April, the project aims to commence construction in the second half of the year. Land supply is planned to issue a recruitment notice in the first half for Phase 1 advanced office facilities, and a bidding notice in the second half for Phase 2 complex office facilities.

The city and Suwon Urban Development Corporation established a communication channel at the roundtable. They shared major contents related to Topdong Innovation Valley permits and land supply, and promised active cooperation such as establishing promotional strategies for land supply. They also agreed to collaborate on corporate attraction and pool their efforts.

A city official stated, "We will make an all-out effort in the implementation and promotion of the Topdong Innovation Valley project and corporate attraction by linking work between each department of Suwon City and Suwon Urban Development Corporation," and added, "We will develop Topdong Innovation Valley into a state-of-the-art industry convergence complex representing West Suwon to lead the development of Suwon City."
