Gyeonggi Province Cultural Tourism Interpreters' Walking Event Successfully Held in Yeoju

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] Yeoju City successfully held the 'Gyeonggi Province Cultural Tourism Interpreters' Walking Event' on the 19th.

The event brought together cultural tourism interpreters, association officials from 31 cities and counties throughout Gyeonggi Province, providing a meaningful time for interpreters from each region to gather in one place, walk through Yeoju's beautiful tourist attractions, and exchange experiences.

The event was attended by Mayor Lee Choong-woo and the head of the Tourism and Sports Division, along with related officials, who encouraged participants and expressed their gratitude for the dedication of the cultural tourism interpreters.

The walking event departed from Sinreuk Temple, one of Yeoju's representative cultural heritages, passed through the picturesque Yeoju Namhan River Suspension Bridge and Yeongwol Pavilion, crossed Yeonin Bridge, and concluded at the Yeoju Museum.

Meanwhile, the city plans to strengthen cooperation with cultural tourism interpreters going forward, provide more quality tourism services, and continue making sustained efforts to revitalize local tourism.
