Anseong City's 'Love Your Hometown Donation Program' 2025 Surpasses 100 Million Won

The donation from CEO Lee marks the second large-scale contribution this year and holds added significance as it represents the maximum amount that can be donated within individual limits.
This donation is the result of CEO Lee learning about the hometown love donation program through an acquaintance's introduction and putting into practice his long-held commitment to giving.
Jinju Moolsan Co., Ltd. is an excellent small and medium-sized enterprise specializing in natural seasonings and dried foods, operating under the philosophy that 'healthy food creates a healthy society' and aiming for sustainable development.
The city explained that through this large-scale donation, the 2025 fundraising total has surpassed 100 million won, representing approximately 100% growth compared to the same period last year (49 million won). This is an indicator demonstrating that the hometown love donation program is gradually taking root in the local community and that a culture of giving for one's hometown is spreading.
The city has designated the 'Student Breakfast Convenience Food Support Project' and the 'Agricultural Crop Disaster Insurance Support Project' as designated donation programs for the hometown love donation program, and is currently fundraising until June 30. Designated donations for the relevant projects can be made through the Hometown Love e-um website or the private donation platform Wikibrew.
The 'Love Your Hometown Donation Program' is a system that allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won annually to local governments other than their registered address. Donors receive full tax deduction for donations up to 100,000 won, and a tax deduction of 16.5% applies to amounts exceeding that. Additionally, return gifts such as local specialties can be received within 30% of the donation amount, allowing donors to receive benefits worth approximately 130,000 won for a 100,000 won donation.
