Uiwang Wangsong Lake Camping Ground Applies Regular Rates for July and August

[Suwon Ilbo=Park Chan-hyuk Reporter] Uiwang Urban Development Corporation (President Noh Sung-hwa) announced on the 24th that following the recent amendment to the 'Ordinance on Management and Operation of Wangsong Lake Park Camping Ground and Leisure Facilities in Uiwang City,' it will apply regular rates for the Uiwang Wangsong Lake Camping Ground in July and August.

Until now, despite high camping demand during the main vacation season of July and August, the Wangsong Lake Camping Ground classified this period as peak season rates, forcing camping users to bear higher costs compared to regular rates applied on weekdays or weekends during other periods.

Through this application of regular rates during summer, visitors to the Wangsong Lake Camping Ground this summer can now enjoy camping at more reasonable prices compared to the existing peak season rates.

The Wangsong Lake Camping Ground is adjacent to abundant surrounding leisure infrastructure including the rail bike, sky rail, and nature study park, making it a leading camping destination in the metropolitan area that enjoys great popularity among family visitors.

The camping ground features a total of 35 camping spaces including 15 glamping units, 10 caravans, and 10 deck sites, and is equipped with convenient facilities such as sink stations, restrooms, and shower facilities.

Particularly, in October last year, the glamping facilities underwent a complete renovation to welcome campers with an upgraded environment, and through this rate restructuring, it is expected to further solidify its position as the summer's best 'value-for-money' camping ground.

Value-for-money is a compound word combining 'price performance + heart (心),' referring to a form of consumption that provides not only price performance but also psychological satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the Wangsong Lake Camping Ground is equipped with various attractions including the sky rail where visitors can enjoy thrills of up to 80km/h maximum speed, an eco-science museum where rare birds can be observed, and a rail bike circulating the lake, offering a rich experience beyond just camping. In particular, it is recognized as a major camping destination based on its outstanding accessibility, which is highly regarded throughout the metropolitan area including Seoul.
