Namyangju City Holds Interim Report on Feasibility Study for Hopyeong·Pyeongnae Complex Community Center

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Um In-yong] Namyangju City held an interim report meeting on the 'Feasibility Study for Hobyeong-dong and Pyeongnae-dong Complex Community Center Construction' on the 14th at the City Hall Integrity Room.

The report meeting was organized to review the feasibility and direction of the complex community center construction project being pursued by the city, and to gather diverse opinions from relevant departments, local residents, and experts.

The meeting was attended by Vice Mayor Hong Ji-seon, City Council Members Han Geun-su and Park Eun-kyung, city officials, local resident representatives, policy advisors, public architecture experts, and the commissioned research organization.

The meeting centered discussions on △the progress report of the feasibility study by the commissioned firm △the necessity of improving complex spaces due to facility deterioration △methods to strengthen construction efficiency, followed by a Q&A session where attendees shared opinions on the direction of the project while expressing consensus on the necessity of building the complex community center and the importance of improving resident convenience and accessibility to public services.

Vice Mayor Hong Ji-seon stated, "It will be necessary to set a direction that not only sufficiently gathers opinions from residents but also takes into account the city's circumstances and administrative procedures."
