Ganghwa County Holds Completion Ceremony for Hajeum-myeon Community Center

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Choi Ki-ho] Ganghwa County held the completion ceremony for the Hajeum-myeon Community Center on the 25th.

The newly completed community center was constructed with a total project cost of 5.7 billion won, spanning 1,521 square meters (B1F and 4 floors above ground). The building is equipped with small conference rooms, program rooms, a multipurpose dining facility, a fitness center, and a multipurpose auditorium for residents' autonomous activities and leisure and welfare services.

The completion ceremony was attended by approximately 200 people, including County Governor Park Yong-chul, National Assembly Member Han Seung-hee, Incheon City Councilor Yun Jae-sang, Ganghwa County Assembly members, local organizations and institution leaders, and Hajeum-myeon residents.

The newly completed community center is expected to replace the previously cramped facilities and significantly contribute to expanding residents' autonomous activities and revitalizing local communities.

County Governor Park Yong-chul stated, "The Hajeum-myeon Community Center is a space of harmony where all residents come together and benefit, and it will be a great force in creating a healthy and vibrant community," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to expand various living infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for all residents and achieve balanced regional development."
