Yangpyeong Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance Holds Capacity-Building Training
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] The Yangpyeong Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance (Alliance Chairman Kwon Jin-wook) held a capacity-building training session on the 23rd at Sonobel in Gaegum-myeon, with approximately 300 crime prevention members in attendance. The training included volunteer and duties education.
The training was divided into Part 1: Capacity-Building Education and Part 2: Commemorative Ceremony.
In Part 1, education was provided to enhance members' expertise and activity capacity, including volunteer training, crime prevention duties education, and Yangpyeong county administration special lectures. Part 2 of the commemorative ceremony featured performance reports and commendation ceremonies for outstanding districts and members.
The outstanding districts for the second half were selected as Yongmun, Jipyeong, Yangseo, and Cheongun districts. Commendations were awarded as follows: △Yangpyeong County Governor's Commendation (Woo Hae-sung from Gaegum District, Kim Yu-hyeon from Yongmun District, Cho Yong-jin from Yangseo District) △National Assembly Member Commendation (Lim Gang-su from Jipyeong District, Kim Yong-gwon from Okcheon District, Bang Jin-gyu from Seojong District) △Yangpyeong County Assembly Speaker Commendation (Nam Gwang-hyeon from Yangdong District, Park Yong-seung from Danwol District, Kim Sung-hak from Yangpyeong-eup District) △Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Speaker Commendation (Lee Ju-eop from Kangha District, Kim Jung-hoon from Kangsang District, Kim Min-seop from Yongmunsan District) △Gyeonggi Southern Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance Chairman Commendation (Hong Sung-woon from the Alliance) △Yangpyeong Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance Chairman Commendation (Kang Gyeong-gu from Guksu District).
Alliance Chairman Kwon Jin-wook stated, "I express my deepest gratitude to County Governor Jeon Jin-seon and all distinguished guests for being here despite their busy schedules," and added, "We will continue to make greater efforts to prevent crime and enhance local safety."
County Governor Jeon Jin-seon said, "The Yangpyeong Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance and the 14 district branches in each eup and myeon play a significant role in local community safety and development, including crime prevention, youth guidance, and support for various events," and expressed, "I hope you will continue to contribute to community development through diverse activities going forward."
