Yangpyeong County Achieves "Excellent Organization" Status for 6 Consecutive Years in Comprehensive Complaints Service Evaluation
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Um In-yong] Yangpyeong County announced on the 6th that it has been selected as an "Excellent Organization" for the sixth consecutive year in the "2025 Comprehensive Complaints Service Evaluation" jointly organized by the Ministry of Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The Comprehensive Complaints Service Evaluation is a system that comprehensively evaluates five categories—△complaints administration strategy and system △operation of complaints procedures △Citizen Ombudsman complaints handling △grievance complaints processing △citizen satisfaction—for all 307 institutions nationwide, including central government agencies (47), provincial education offices (17), metropolitan autonomous entities (17), and basic autonomous entities (226).
This evaluation was conducted based on complaints service operations for one year from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.
Among the 20 evaluation indicators, Yangpyeong County achieved perfect scores in △county head's complaints administration performance △protection of vulnerable groups in complaints △monitoring and inspection of complaints processing status and personal information protection education results △grievance complaints handling efforts and other indicators, demonstrating excellent performance.
County Head Jeon Jin-seon said, "This result is an achievement made through the participation of county residents and the steady efforts of public officials," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to provide a 'communicative complaints platform' that all county residents, including vulnerable groups, can use without inconvenience."
