Suwon Urban Development Corporation Steps Up Public-Private Joint Efforts to Eliminate Safety Blind Spots

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Lee Min-jung] Suwon Urban Development Corporation (CEO Lee Young-in, hereinafter "the corporation") is stepping up public-private joint efforts to prevent industrial accidents and eliminate safety blind spots.

On the 11th, the corporation signed an MOU titled 'More Safety and All Together Safety Partnership' with the Korea Safety Industry Association Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters at Deoham Park.

The MOU signing ceremony, pursued to enhance the level of safety management at public facilities and create a safe public facility environment through major accident prevention, was attended by about 10 officials from both organizations.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly pursue △technical diagnosis and consultation in safety and health fields for public facilities and workplaces △support for identifying risk factors and establishing improvement measures to prevent major accidents △education, training, and joint inspections to strengthen safety management capabilities.

Additionally, a 'Safety Partnership Promotion Team' involving general citizens has been established.

By combining external experts' technical diagnosis in risk assessment and health with citizens' on-site experience, it is expected that safety blind spots will be improved more effectively.

CEO Lee Young-in said, "We will diagnose safety blind spots together with private institutions and citizens and resolve issues to do our best in ensuring safe and convenient use of public facilities."
