Suwon Special City Selected as Host City for '2026 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon Special City has been selected as the host city for the '2026 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival' organized by Gyeonggi Province.

The Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival is a representative cultural event of Gyeonggi Province that provides performance opportunities for indie artists and audiences with the chance to enjoy diverse music.

A variety of performances will take place including indie musician competitions, celebrity musician performances, and busking. Experience booths will also be operated.

The city plans to promote the 2026 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival as a mega event in connection with the '2026-2027 Suwon Visit Year' initiative. The city plans to create festival programs that blend Suwon's unique cultural resources with musical sensibility to provide audiences with abundant attractions.
