Hanam City Launches '2026 Hanam Women Intern Program' to Support Women Job Seekers

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] Hanam City announced on the 21st that it is promoting the '2026 Hanam Women Intern Program' to expand economic participation among women job seekers in the city and support businesses in hiring.

This program targets a total of 20 unemployed women, including those with interrupted careers. The city will recommend suitable female talent, and participating companies will receive recruitment incentives and retention allowances to maintain long-term employment following the internship.

Eligible applicants are women job seekers with residence in Hanam City and companies with five or more employees registered with the four major insurance programs in the city, with working conditions meeting the requirement of 40 hours or more per week (full-time) and monthly salary of 2,156,880 won or higher (based on 2026 minimum wage) for permanent positions.

Support amounts total 3.8 million won per person, with participating companies receiving a total of 3.2 million won including recruitment support and employment retention allowances, and job seekers receiving 600,000 won in retention incentives.

Companies will receive 800,000 won in monthly recruitment support during the three-month internship period. After the internship ends, if the interns are converted to permanent or full-time employees and maintain employment for six months or longer, additional incentives will be provided to both the company and job seeker.
