Yeoju City to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for New City Hall Building

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Um In-yong] Yeoju City announced on the 11th that it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 10 a.m. on the 26th for the construction of a new city hall building, one of the city's long-standing projects.

The groundbreaking ceremony will mark the start of the new city hall construction project and will proceed with project progress reports and a ceremonial ground-breaking in the presence of local residents and related officials.

The new city hall construction project is being pursued to improve the aging existing municipal building environment and to provide citizens with a more convenient space to access administrative services.

The newly constructed city hall is planned as a facility with administrative spaces and public functions that take into account citizen convenience, and construction will proceed according to relevant procedures.

Park Kyung-wan, head of the Construction Division and new city hall construction task force at the city, stated, "We will do our utmost in project management and safety management to ensure the smooth implementation of the new city hall construction project."
