Mayor Kim Sung-je Conducts Field Inspection of Wangsong Lake Park Area in Uiwang

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Yu Je-sung] On the 11th, Mayor Kim Sung-je of Uiwang visited the Wangsong Lake Park area and conducted a field inspection to ensure citizens can enjoy the park comfortably during the spring season.

On this day, Mayor Kim personally toured the ecological walking trails, ecological wetlands, and major walking paths in Wangsong Lake Park, examining the lake water quality and the habitat environment for flora and fauna. He also carefully checked the maintenance status of park facilities in preparation for the spring season when visitor numbers increase.

In particular, in connection with the Uiwang-Gunpo-Ansan third new city development project, Mayor Kim exchanged opinions with key city officials about the future vision for Wangsong Lake Park, which will undergo new changes.

Mayor Kim Sung-je stated, "Wangsong Lake Park is a representative natural asset of our city and a precious space where citizens can enjoy rest and leisure in their daily lives," and added, "I ask that you make greater efforts in facility management and environmental improvement so that citizens can use the park safely and comfortably at any time."

He further emphasized, "Moving forward, in connection with the Uiwang-Gunpo-Ansan third new city development, we will cultivate Wangsong Lake Park as an aquatic and ecological space where nature, rest, and ecology harmonize."
