Gwacheon City Implements 'Text Notification Service' Starting January 1st

The service aims to help residents access necessary information more easily and quickly. The city has added text message alerts to its existing social media-centered information delivery method, allowing residents to check city news directly without conducting separate searches.

Key content to be delivered via text includes various welfare benefits, culture, performances, festivals, events, education, and emergency disaster information that can improve citizens' quality of life.

In particular, clicking the direct link (URL) included in the text message connects users directly to a webpage with detailed information, further enhancing information accessibility and convenience.

Registration and cancellation of the text notification service can be done anytime through the Gwacheon City Hall official website.

A city official said, "We will strengthen communication by ensuring that various city news is provided to residents in a timely manner through the text notification service."
