Hwaseong Special City Realizes 'Care System Where No One Is Left Out'...Completes Integrated Care Implementation Roadmap

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Hwaseong Special City has completed the blueprint for 'Hwaseong-style Integrated Care' to establish a customized care system centered on citizens and has entered the full implementation stage.

On the 28th, the city held the '2026 First Regular Integrated Support Committee Meeting' in the city hall conference room, presided over by Acting Mayor Yoon Sung-jin, to discuss specific implementation plans and future directions for providing locally-focused care services.

The meeting, attended by the acting mayor, care-related experts, and relevant officials, proceeded with △reporting on integrated care promotion results △final announcement of research results for the integrated care support implementation plan △question and answer session.

Notably, the meeting reported the final results of the 'Hwaseong City Integrated Care Support Implementation Plan Research Project' promoted over five months since January. The research results include methods to improve the efficiency of the care delivery system reflecting the city's population characteristics and regional conditions, as well as detailed strategies for resolving service blind spots.

Based on this research, the city plans to further strengthen the 'Hwaseong-style Integrated Care System' by linking care services that were previously provided individually in the areas of health and medical care, long-term care, and housing into a single system to support citizens in spending a healthy and stable retirement where they live.

Meanwhile, the city plans to reflect the advisory opinions and research results discussed on this day in city administration and implement detailed projects by field starting from the second half of the year.
